Bill Walsh

Bill Walsh passed away today at the age of 75 after a long battle against leukemia. Walsh is best known for the San Francisco 49ers 1980s dynasty, winning three Super Bowls with Joe Montana quarterbacking a West Coast Offense that revolutionized football. Walsh's brilliant strategies and tactics are evident up until today, as many members of his staffs have gone on to become head coaches in the league, including four who have won Super Bowls in Tony Dungy, Brian Billick, George Seifert, and Mike Holmgren.
